Samsung’s best 2025 mid-range phone has just hit a price mark, making it the smartest buy. The Galaxy A36 5G is available for $349 in the US, with platforms selling the phone including Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart.
The Galaxy A36 5G costs $399 in the US, but a limited period $50 discount makes it a steal deal to look at. The phone comes with 128GB of internal storage, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and runs the latest Android 15.
Samsung is also preparing to bring the Galaxy A56 5G to the United States later this year. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A36 5G also brings crazy specs to the table, bringing it closer to its elder brother, the Galaxy A56 5G.
What makes A36 the smartest budget buy
The Galaxy A36 sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The panel features a 120Hz refresh rate and full HD+ resolution, making it a pro-grade spec.
If you are an Exynos hater, the A36 5G would impress you. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, which delivers awesome performance and supports select AI features.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy A36 has a 50MP primary camera, which supports 4K recording at 30fps. Interestingly, the phone’s 12MP front camera also supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.
Samsung has equipped the A36 with a 5000mAh battery. Like the top flagships, the handset supports up to 45W charging. Being a mid-range device, it does not have a wireless charging feature, but you get an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Samsung hasn’t forgotten the durability front. The Galaxy A36 5G features an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Samsung claims the device can withstand being submerged in up to a meter of water for 30 minutes.
While you get Android 15-based One UI 7 pre-installed, Samsung is committed to offering six years of OS upgrades and security patches, with certain regional official websites claiming coverage until at least October 2030.
