Samsung One UI 5.0 will bring many new and advanced features to its Galaxy device customers. Users are expecting various major changes to the new-gen custom software update but we cannot ignore a very small but worth noticing change – Charging animation.
Ditching the old One UI 3.x charging animation, Samsung brought a completely new charging animation with Android 12-based One UI 4.0. But the few months old One UI 4.1 doesn’t have any changes in the charging animation, it continues to use the One UI 4.0’s.
Meanwhile, users get really bored of the same thick and green-colored circular animation and are expecting some modification on this side also. Many Galaxy users reached the Samsung community saying they want new charging animation with One UI 5.0.
However, this is a very small change that many people do not even notice. But as Samsung is an expert in meeting its user demands, we would love to see the One UI 5.0 come with a redesigned charging animation.
On the other hand, some users also complain that the Samsung charging animation shows for a very short time, barely a couple of seconds. They want it to show for at least 3-4 seconds so that it can be confirmed if the phone is positioned properly or the charger is shaken.

[Leak] Samsung One UI 5.0 has no user interface changes over 4.1
Undoubtedly, you may have been bored with the One UI 4.1’s user interface and icons and waiting for the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 to get new UI tweaks on your Samsung phone. Well, there’s bad news for those who are speculating user interface and design changes with the One UI 5.0 version, as per IceUniverse.
According to the tipster, the One UI 5.0 variant has “no changes in UI (user interface) design, icons, etc”, however, Samsung has slightly improved the animation, as reported earlier. The source even claimed that there’s no difference between the One UI 5 and One UI 4, at least, when it comes to the user interface.
Bad news, the current One UI 5.0 has no changes in UI design, icons, etc. The animation has changed slightly. Other than that, there is no difference with One UI 4. Maybe they have not been built yet and need to continue to observe.🙃

If it’s going to be true, the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 upgrade will be a big disappointment for almost all Samsung consumers. Well, what’s the authenticity of this claim? Let me explain you. No doubt, IceUniverse is known as a trustworthy tipster, which has a solid tip record in the industry.
Ice might be talking about the initial build of the One UI 5 that might be under testing by Samsung insiders and the developers’ team. Last year, the company did major design changes with 3rd public Beta, therefore, there’s hope that it will happen with the One UI 5 as well.
One UI 5 Beta
It is reported that the South Korean tech giant will begin the Android 13-based One UI 5 Beta program in the third week of July 2022. The Galaxy S22 series devices will surely be the initial participants, while the company might expand it to more than 7 traditional markets thanks to the universal CSC for Europe.
This year, the Android 13 OS is likely to be launched in the next two months, while Beta builds revealed that there are no major changes in the user interface and Google is focussing on improvements or earlier ones. Meanwhile, Samsung is likely to bring a re-imagined UI design with One UI 5 for the Galaxy devices.
With the Android 12 operating system, Google made radical changes in the design, user interface and icons. At the same time, Samsung did limited yet remarkable modifications while crafting its Android 12-based One UI 4.0 software for Galaxy devices.
