Samsung One UI 5.0 will bring many new and advanced features to its Galaxy device customers. Users are expecting various major changes to the new-gen custom software update but we cannot ignore a very small but worth noticing change – Charging animation.
Ditching the old One UI 3.x charging animation, Samsung brought a completely new charging animation with Android 12-based One UI 4.0. But the few months old One UI 4.1 doesn’t have any changes in the charging animation, it continues to use the One UI 4.0’s.
Meanwhile, users get really bored of the same thick and green-colored circular animation and are expecting some modification on this side also. Many Galaxy users reached the Samsung community saying they want new charging animation with One UI 5.0.
However, this is a very small change that many people do not even notice. But as Samsung is an expert in meeting its user demands, we would love to see the One UI 5.0 come with a redesigned charging animation.
On the other hand, some users also complain that the Samsung charging animation shows for a very short time, barely a couple of seconds. They want it to show for at least 3-4 seconds so that it can be confirmed if the phone is positioned properly or the charger is shaken.

Here’s your first look at One UI 5.1 Battery Status Widget [Gallery]
Similar to the Galaxy S23 series, One UI 5.1 software is also an epic creation by Samsung. It loads plenty of exciting features, which can also be experienced without purchasing a Galaxy S23 smartphone. Everything apart, the most awaited Battery Status Widget feature is finally available on the One UI 5.1!
One UI 5.1 version’s new Battery Status Widget feature has two different options and both look wonderful on the screen. You may have been wondering about the availability of these widgets. We guess the company won’t make you wait for long to get this One UI 5.1 upgrade.
The first widget option displays the battery status of the smartphone and connected devices in 4×1 format using circles. The second battery widget looks quite similar to the One UI 5’s Smart Suggestions widget. It brings a rectangular shape and showcases battery status with a green bar.

Battery Status (circles)
This widget design has a circular ring filled with green color and expands as per the percentage of the battery. Inside the circle, the element also features a device icon and percentage in text for even better understanding. Notably, the Green ring also turns to Red when the battery reaches a down level.
Battery Status (List)
This Smart Suggestions-like looking widget also delivers the battery status of Galaxy ecosystem devices such as smartphone, smartwatch, earbuds, and S Pen. In a list format, the widget box has a header entitled Battery, followed by the battery status of devices with elements like icon, device name, battery bar, and percentage in text.
Interestingly, both widgets look like trimmed-down versions of the ones available in the Apple iOS operating system. Talking about usability, Samsung managed to deliver the same in less space on the screen so you can take full advantage of the display on a single page.
