When Samsung released Wear OS 3 for Galaxy Watch 4, Google also brought the ability to use YouTube music for the Wear OS 3 smartwatches. This YouTube Music is getting a new feature on the Galaxy Watch 4 that allows you to jump back into your favorite playlist.
In a recent development, Google has begun rolling out a new update for the YouTube Music app on wearables running on Wear OS 3. Identified via build version 5.06.40, the latest update adds the Recently played tile to let users quickly start listening to music.

Once the shortcut is added besides the watch face, it will show your recently played music along with the album and artist name, as well as artwork in the background. Clicking on it will resume music playback while tapping the browse button will open the app.

What if music is already playing on YouTube music? The tile will show the current track and clicking on it will immediately open music controls in the app. To understand it better, check the screenshots below (via 9to5Google).
