While other OEMs are busy providing March & April 2022 security patches, Samsung already started to release the May 2022 security update to Galaxy devices from April 25. Just like the last month, the Galaxy S22 series became the first to receive this newer patch over the air even before changing the calendar month.

T-Mobile releases May 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 in the US

Samsung is sending the May 2022 Android security patch update for the carrier-locked Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone customers in the US. Whereas, the carrier-unlocked models have already had their hand on the latest patch earlier this month itself.
Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra May 2022 update comes with One UI build version N981USQS2FVE6 and N986USQS2FVE6 in the US, respectively. It is currently released for Sprint’s and T-Mobile’s network users and will soon be available for other customers.

Last August, Samsung launched its last Note lineup, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. At the Unpacked event, the company announced that all the Galaxy flagships launched with Android 9 or later will get three years of Android upgrade support!

Samsung started releasing the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update to the Galaxy Note 20 series devices in Switzerland.

Exclusively introduced with Galaxy S22, the Google Duo Live Sharing feature is now reaching Galaxy Note 20 devices, thanks to One UI 4.1
