Smart Widget is a new feature created by Samsung for the Galaxy devices running One UI 4.1 software. Debuted along with the Galaxy S22 series, the One UI 4.1 offered the Smart Widget feature to various Samsung flagship phones excluding the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3.
Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 have received the One UI 4.1 update, the Smart Widget feature is not available for the next-gen Samsung foldable. However, an angry consumer’s query forced the One UI staff to disclose the Smart Widget feature release timeline for the foldable phones.
According to a Samsung community moderator, a new firmware update is under preparation for the Galaxy Fold/Z Fold 2/Z Fold 3 and Z Flip/Z Flip 3 foldable phones. This release is almost confirmed to bring the most-awaited Smart Widget feature to all Samsung folding devices.
An exact release timeline of the Smart Widget feature is still unknown, however, the company is scheduled to deliver them by next month. Smart Widget is a One UI 4.1-exclusive feature that lets users keep their phone’s home screen clean by using 3 widgets by occupying space for just one.
Samsung is currently releasing the May 2022 security update to various Galaxy devices. At the same time, the latest software also brings new Camera features from the Galaxy S22 series to the Galaxy S21. The company confirmed that more S22 camera features will be provided to foldable screen Galaxies too.

Samsung Galaxy M13 5G TUV Rheinland certificate reveals 15W fast charging
