Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
With the very first appearance, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is equipped with a 6.2-inch cover display with a punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera, which you will be getting a 7.6 inches inner OLED with 120Hz refresh rate, and of course, an improved under-display camera as well as S Pen support.

On the rear side, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a triple camera setup, similar to the Galaxy S22 Ultra in which all lenses are arranged unassisted. Copying the idea of OPPO, Samsung seems to be trimming the height of its upcoming Z Fold by a few millimeters and increasing the length and width.
Aside from the front and back sides, there are no significant changes in the overall form factor of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4. As the leaks are just in the initial stage, we should not take such an appearance as the final design, however, we have to wait until the official announcement by Samsung.

1TB Galaxy S25 Ultra? You won’t find it at AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with 1TB storage is not easily accessible in the US. While trying, you may have failed in finding the 1TB model of the Galaxy S25 Ultra at leading US carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
Galaxy S25 Ultra is available with up to 1TB of storage in all countries. Meanwhile, the major US carriers are only selling 256GB and 512GB models, and the reason behind this sales strategy is yet to be explained.
Well, you can still buy the 1TB model through the official Samsung website. The unlocked 1TB S25 Ultra is up for sale at a promotional price of $1,419.99, down from the recommended price of $1,659.99 in the country.
Getting an unlocked model is not a bad deal, but carrier-bounded models reduce the burden of a full payment. A significant portion of consumers purchase premium phones on contract to soften the up-front costs.
512GB is a decent storage for most of the smartphone users. However, some require even more storage to keep epic moments stored. Photography enthusiasts also prefer the largest storage option to enjoy the camera without storage burden.
During the pre-orders, Samsung offered free double storage benefits. Ordering a 256GB model unlocks the 512GB model without raising the price. However, the offer is now over and the device starts at $1299 for 256GB in the US.

Global Galaxy S25 Edge runs Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is highly likely to use Snapdragon 8 Elite globally. In a recent development, the phone’s global variant has surfaced on Geekbench with improved performance and Qualcomm-made processor.
The Galaxy S25 Edge (SM-S937B) has been spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite. The device scored better in the multi-core performance test, however, the single-core performance remained disappointing.
- Single-Core Score: 2806
- Multi-Core Score: 8416
The upcoming device has reached 2806 points in Geekbench 6.4’s single-core test and 8416 points in the multi-core test, featuring 4.47 GHz Snapdragon 8 Elite paired with 12GB of RAM.
Last month, the Galaxy S25 Edge US model appeared on the benchmark platform. At that time, the device scored 3005 and 6945 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
There’s a notable difference in both performance tests. The Global model has secured better multi-core scores at 8416 than the initial listing of the US model of 6945.
The performance may improve further as there’s still time left in the official unveiling. Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see how the device manages heat generation by the beefy Snapdragon.
Galaxy S25 Edge Launch and Specs
Samsung might launch the Galaxy S25 Edge around April this year. The device may exclusively be available through Samsung.com as a carrier-unlocked unit, apart from other countries.
The S25 Edge is said to be 5.84mm sleek despite having a form factor similar to the S25 Plus. There may be some trade-offs such as smaller battery at 3900mAh and slower charging speed at 25W.
Rumors also claim a 200-megapixel primary and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. The prototype that Samsung showed at Unpacked lacks a dedicated Telephoto sensor.

Samsung Galaxy A56 5G will be unveiled soon with a brand-new rear design. The smartphone will retain its modern look while introducing a revamped camera island, bringing an iconic identity into the segment.
Recently, leaker Evan Blass revealed a full 360-degree design of the Samsung Galaxy A56. The leak showcases the upcoming device from four sides (front-back, left-right), featuring a modern front and a revamped yet iconic rear side.
The phone can be seen in its elegant color shades including Grey, Pink, Black, and Green, however, marketing names could be a little different with an “Awesome” prefix. You can check out the design and colors in the images below:

The Galaxy A56 boasts a dedicated pill-shaped module for camera sensors. The LED flash was placed out of the module, retaining the placement as in previous models. The Key Island is also here to provide a unique feel over the physical controls.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A56 alongside the Galaxy A36 in March 2025. The former would not be available in the US as it would clash with the Galaxy S24 FE. The latter will launch in the United States under a mid-range segment.
Last heard the Galaxy A56 sports a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung is likely to use a new Exynos 1580 chipset paired with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
Charging speed is almost confirmed to be 45W, up from 25W in last year’s A55. Meanwhile, the battery capacity would remain unchanged at 5000mAh, still, you can expect improved battery life with software optimization.
In terms of optics, the A56 is said to get a new 12-megapixel selfie snapper. On the back, the module will consist of a 50-megapixel (OIS) primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.

Samsung’s foldable empire faces new global challenger next week

Oppo is bringing its new Find N5 foldable phone globally next week. The specs sheet shows that Find N5 foldable is going to be the most painful challenger to the Samsung foldable.
Samsung’s foldable dominance was harmed by Huawei’s entry last year. Meanwhile, Oppo is now hyping its new foldable as the world’s thinnest smartphone, taking aim at the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Oppo’s Find N5 is set to launch in China and Singapore on February 20. The teaser targets Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, putting them to shame given its sleek yet modern design.
Samsung has announced its new foldable phones in July 2024. The company has also brought a Special Edition Galaxy Z Fold with a slimmer design than the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Competition is intensifying in the foldable market where Samsung always maintained its lead. Rival brands are quite aggressive towards the market, raising the innovation challenge before Samsung.
Oppo Find N5 Specs (Expected)
The device is confirmed to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, IPX6/X8/X9 water resistance, a titanium alloy hinge, as well as 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Credible leakers revealed that the Oppo Find N5’s main screen measures 8.12-inch. It has a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
The same design is expected to launch as the OnePlus Open 2 in key markets such as India and the US. However, an official confirmation regarding the market availability has not yet dropped.
Notably, the phone’s camera carries a Hypertone branding. The side key doubles the functionality of a fingerprint sensor, apart from a dedicated alert slider.
Oppo Find N5 would launch in Cosmic Black and Misty White colors in the global market. Chinese consumers would get a unique Twilight Purple variant, probably featuring a plastic leather back.
