Aside from these, as per Samsung’s April 2022 patch details, there are fixes for 88 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities to boost the overall device performance. These issues include 27 high and 18 moderate levels of CVEs from Google and Samsung.

Samsung’s May 2023 security patch fixes more than 70 issues including 5 Critical, 46 High, and 1 Moderate level of common vulnerability exposures. The company resolved issues with Bootloader, App lock, Call Settings, and Telephony framework. It is an initial rollout so it may take some time to reach all Galaxy S21 devices.

How to update?
If you haven’t already received the OTA update notification, expect to get it in the next day or so. The rollout happens rapidly so it shouldn’t be long before you’re able to get the update. You can manually check the update via your device’s Settings, Download and install option under Software Updates.
