Google launched a lot of new products and software alongside big announcements that will reflect over the year. Aside from this, Google and Samsung announced a new initiative called Health Connect that will let users share their data across apps, thanks to simplified connectivity between health and fitness apps.
As of now, accessing and system the consumers’ health-related data is a difficult task for developers. Therefore, the Health Connect platform is finally here to offer them plenty of services alongside APIs to make it easier. Here’s what Google’s Sean McBreen said:
“Health Connect lets you store and access health-related information across devices with user consent, taking out all the boilerplate code, taking care of the security issues, but also allowing you to mash up that information.”.
Following their impressive collaboration on Wear OS, Google and Samsung closely worked on yet another platform “Health Connect” in order to make seamless connectivity among apps including Google Fit, Samsung Health, MyFitnessPal, Leap Fitness, and Withings.
“Users will have full control over their privacy settings, with granular controls to see which apps are requesting access to data at any given time,” Google explains.
It also means that users can easily disable access or delete data when they see fit. Also, if multiple apps provide the same data, the user can choose which one to prioritize. The Health Connect Beta is now available to developers on Google Play so they can start building and testing their apps.
Bill Gates loves to use Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 as his daily driver
Recently, in the reply to one of the questions on Reddit in an AMA thread, Microsoft’s founder Bill Gates confirmed that he is using an Android smartphone that is Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Instead of Microsoft’s Surface Duo, he uses Galaxy Z Fold 3 as his daily driver.
Previously, Bill Gates told that he uses an Android smartphone with a big screen but now has confirmed that that smartphone is not other than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. He also stated that he had tried different foldable smartphones but the screen offered by this Samsung smartphone makes his work easier.
He replied, “I have an Android Galaxy Z Fold 3. I try different ones. With this screen I can get by with a great portable PC and the phone and nothing else.”
It is also likely that Bill Gates uses a Samsung phone simply because Samsung’s close partnership with Microsoft allows the company’s various devices to integrate very well with Windows. However, in the previous year, he also pointed out that some Android manufacturers have Microsoft software pre-installed and that Android is more flexible than iOS.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is one of the best foldable smartphones to date, it’s truly a remarkable feat of innovation. To make the Galaxy Z Fold 3 more flexible than the previous model, Samsung engineers have hardened almost every aspect of the device, including the frame, hinge, and screen.
