Recently, Samsung released the May 2022 Android security patch update for the first-generation Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphone users in Latin American markets. Now the company is expanding the Samsung Galaxy Fold May 2022 update in the US.

Samsung May 2022 security update is now rolling out to these Galaxy devices

Starting with the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has begun distributing the May 2022 security patch update. A thing to be remembered is that this is the world’s first May 2022 patch, which was released on April 25, nearly an entire week ahead of the month of May.
Following the initial release, the Korean tech giant has begun to expand the availability of the May patch to more Galaxy flagships and mid-rangers, globally. Meanwhile, some devices are expected to get the May patch with a major Android and One UI upgrade.

April 20, 2022: April 2022 security patch (Europe)
Samsung has dispatched a new software update for Galaxy Note 10 Lite smartphone owners in Europe. This update primarily installs the April 2022 Android security patch in order to enhance the security of your phone and provide you with seamless performance.
Further, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite April 2022 security update comes with fixes for 88 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities and exploits from Google and Samsung. These include 27 high and 18 moderate levels of CVEs.

Samsung released the May 2022 Android security patch update for the carrier-unlocked Galaxy S20 FE 5G models in the US last week. Now the company is expanding the fresh firmware update for the carrier-locked Galaxy S20 FE 5G devices in the US.
Identified via One UI build version G781USQS7FVD4, the latest update is released only on Sprint’s network in the region. However, other US carriers are expected to release the update in the coming days.
