Samsung is expanding the April 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy S21 smartphone users in Brazil. It comes with better system security and stability alongside the device’s performance enhancements.

Further, the update holds the One UI build version G991BXXS4CVCG, G996BXXS4CVCG, and G998BXXS4CVCG for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S12 Ultra. To download it, navigate Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.

Samsung started releasing this month’s Android security patch update for Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra users in early April. After a long wait, the corresponding device owners are finally getting the April 2022 Android security patch update in India.

Following the changelog, the Samsung Galaxy S21 April 2022 update improves the security and stability of the system. Additionally, it boosts the phone’s performance by reducing system lagging and fixing bugs.

Besides these enhancements, the Samsung Galaxy S21 April 2022 update brings seven stock app upgrades in order to impro the novel stability of the functions. The list of applications is mentioned below.

Other than these, there released Samsung’s April 2022 security patch details mention 88 privacy and security-affiliated vulnerabilities and exploit fixes including 27 high and 18 moderate levels of CVEs from Samsung and Google.

These vulnerabilities are related to improper access controls in S Secure, Knox Manage, Samsung DeX Home, StroageManager, StrorageManagerService, Samsung Contacts app, One UI Home, and more.

Moving on, the Samsung Galaxy S21 April 2022 update comes with One UI build version G991BXXU4CVD2. Whereas, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra users can identify it through G996BXXU4CVD2 and G998BXXU4CVD2 firmware versions respectively.

As soon as your device gets this update, it will notify you. In case you want to check it manually, navigate Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.

The device will check for available updates and if available, click Download now. After successful download, choose Install now or Schedule install according to your preferences. Once, installed the phone will reboot and start initial apps optimizations.

Samsung has expanded the reach of the March 2024 security update for carrier-locked and unlocked models of Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A32 5G in the US. However, the latest patch is already live in several countries and will reach the remaining regions in the coming days or weeks.

This latest update is a regular security patch that aims to work on the core functioning of your Galaxy devices and elevate their security and stability grades, ensuring that users’ data and sensitive information remain secure for a hassle-free and more seamless experience.
