Samsung started rolling out the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for Galaxy S10 smartphone users in late March. Meanwhile, the US unit of the phones is now getting the taste of the latest custom software system update.

Based on Android 12, Samsung One UI 4.1 is a huge upgrade over the One UI 4.0. Many Galaxy S22-exclusive features including Google Duo Live Sharing, Grammarly-powered keyboard, and Gallery with built-in Reflection eraser and Shadow eraser are coming to your Galaxy S10.

There’s also, enhanced quick share, new camera features including Night portrait functions, Pet recognition, Light position editing, etc., revamped color palette, customizable RAM Plus, improved Bixby Routines, and power privacy settings.

On the other hand, the company is also taking care of game lovers. It brings the ability to turn off Game Optimization Services as well as improved Game Launcher and Game Booster. Meanwhile, Samsung’s partnership with Google ensures a seamless experience when using your favorite third-party apps and services as well.

Samsung has finally begun rolling out the October 2023 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones. These fifth-generation foldables are the first ones to get the latest patch.

October 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones can be identified through One UI builds versions F731USQS1AWI3 and F946USQS1AWI3 respectively. The update is currently available for locked models on the Verizon network in the US.

The company will soon expand this update to more Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 models. Other Galaxy smartphones and tablets are also expected to receive the October 2023 security update in the following days or weeks.

Importantly, this update focuses mainly on security fixes and functional improvements to provide a better and enhanced experience. However, Samsung has yet to disclose the details of security flaws of the latest patch.
