While Samsung Galaxy A12 smartphone users are waiting for the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update, the company is only releasing the monthly security patch update for the phone. Unfortunately, it’s not even the April 2022 security patch.

The Galaxy A12 owners are getting the March 2022 Android security patch update in Indian markets. This update comes with better system security and stability, which can be identified via One UI build version A127FXXU5AVC5.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Android 12 One UI 4.1:

A week ago, Samsung started testing the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for Galaxy A12 smartphones in India. Although there is no confirmed date for the release of this update at this time, this test shows that the company will not take much time to release the update.

This will be the first Android 12 update for the Galaxy A12, which means skipping One UI 4.0, it’s directly taking a jump to One UI 4.1. Also, this will be the last major Android OS for the devices, according to Samsung’s software update policy. After this, the A12 will only be eligible for security patch updates for 2 years.
