Samsung started to dispatch the April 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone users earlier this month. Meanwhile, after a wait of weeks, Indian users have finally started grabbing the latest software update on their Galaxy S21 FE phones.

According to the changelog, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE April 2022 update comes with improvements for system security and stability. At the same time, it protects your phone from bugs and viruses as well as reduces lagging to further boost its performance.

Moreover, Samsung’s April 2022 security patch also comes with 88 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities and exploits. However, the official support page mentions 27 high and 18 moderate levels of CVEs fixes from Samsung and Google.

Furthermore, the fresh firmware update bags the One UI build version G990EXXS2CVC8 in India. And, to install it, you will have to download a package of around 238MB on your smartphone.

As soon as you receive April 2022 update on your Galaxy S21 FE, your phone will notify you. In case you haven’t yet received the notification and want to check the update manually, navigate Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
