Samsung Galaxy S22 price drop in South Korea

The reason behind this price drop?

Consumers have complained and have filed a class-action lawsuit against the handset makers, that the company is advertising the phone as the most powerful smartphone yet. Users say that performance management software slows the performance of the premium device.

Tear down indicated that the handset lacked a cooling component called the vapor chamber, implying the increased burden on the performance management software to tackle the overheating issues.

Samsung’s reply –
