Samsung Call Update

You can customize your phone’s home screen and lock screen with a variety of static and live wallpapers. What if you want equal treatment for call backgrounds? Well, Samsung provides you with the ability to set the video as the call background on your Galaxy smartphone.

Samsung provided the option to change the background of incoming calls with the release of Android 11-based One UI 3.0 a couple of years back. It’s a neat customization feature that continues to provide its services on Android 12-based One UI 4.1 to add a bit of flavor to your plane call screen.

Having the option to change the background image or video of the incoming call screen is a nice touch especially when Samsung offers some call background options by itself as well as lets you pick an image or a video from your own gallery or create an animated background using AR Emoji.
