Samsung silently launched Galaxy S20 FE 2022, only for Koreans

Samsung has silently released the Galaxy S20 FE 2022 Edition, which is exclusively available in South Korea. The device is available for purchase in the South Korean market through partner carriers such as KT and LG Uplus. And, it is confirmed that SK Telecom does not have a separate plan.

The Galaxy S20 FE 2022 features a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED display that delivers full HD+ resolution. The Infinity-O punch-hole display offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Galaxy S20 FE 2022 packs a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 12-megapixel (mainly, with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultraviolet) + 8-megapixel with telephoto – a triple camera setup on the rear camera setup.

The Snapdragon 865 chipset is located under the hood of the device. It comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery. However, there is no information on the device’s fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. It is not clear whether the device will run on the latest Android 12 OS or Android 11.

The smartphone comes with an IP68 rated. And, in terms of biometrics security, it has an in-screen fingerprint scanner. However, the AKG headset is no longer included in the phone’s retail box.

Price and Availability

There is no information about the availability of the 2022 Edition of Galaxy S20 FE  will be made available for purchase outside of South Korea. It is priced at KRW 700,000 ($574). It comes in Cloud White, Cloud Lavender, and Cloud Navy colors. The KT is offering the AKG headset for free to S20 FE 2022 buyers until the end of this month.
