Samsung Galaxy S22 price drops in Korea after GOS throttling controversy

A month ago, the information leaked that Samsung is slowing down thousands of Android applications on Galaxy smartphones, including the new model of the Galaxy S22 series. This issue affects many popular apps, including Google and Samsung first-party apps.
This GOS braking on Galaxy S22 devices has led to a drop in consumer interest. But it is also true that the company is constantly working to overcome the problems and concerns of users.

Notably, This altercation appears to have affected sales of the Galaxy S22 in South Korea. Users avoid purchasing Galaxy S22 devices as they provide performance data that does not show actual results.
Meanwhile, consumers were not made aware that GOS does not reduce the performance of the device and that GOS can not be turned off even if users wanted to. Samsung later addressed this by releasing an update.
However, Korean consumers do not seem to be so happy with this situation. Regional media reports indicate that sales of Samsung’s latest flagships have plummeted. As a result, Samsung partners have increased their funding to boost sales of the Galaxy S22.
KT and LG Uplus have ensured that they have increased support for the Galaxy S22 and S22 + to 500,000 won ($ 410). The providers have already increased their support for the Galaxy S22 Ultra to the same extent. The grants offered are three times more than the previously offered 150,000 won ($ 124).
