Buttons 

If we talk about the button then it is very easy to use them for running Samsung smartphones as their layout is very simple, and normal users can understand it easily. By the way, many people like the button more, because by using the buttons, we can avoid opening any feature with the wrong touch of the screen.

Gestures

Obviously, the Gestures feature is awesome. This makes our smartphones easier to use, all you need to know about them. However, Samsung offers two types of gestures for navigating your Galaxy smartphone.

Swipe from bottom

By swiping up from each area of the bottom of your phone to go back, go to the Home screen, or view apps.

 Swipe from sides and bottom

This allows you to navigate your smartphone with swipe sides and bottom. You can swipe inward, left/ right, and hold on to open recent, go back, home screen, and more. You can also customize them by using the Good Lock module One Hand Operation +.

Back in August 2021, Samsung announced the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta program in South Korea. Later on, the company has expanded the Beta activity to the US and German market, followed by released the first One UI 4 Beta update for the Galaxy S21 series in these three markets.

Going further, the Korean tech giant rolled out the One UI 4 Beta 2 a few days ago, which comes with plenty of new features such as RAM Plus and Material You theming system as well as improvements and optimizations over the first One UI 4 Beta release.

Initially started with the South Korean market, Samsung’s Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta program is currently available in 5 countries including the US, South Korea, Germany, India and UK. Unlike the first three markets, the consumers from the latter two markets have received just a single Beta update.

Last year, Samsung started the Android 11-based One UI 3 Beta program for the Galaxy S20 series in October 2020. However, the devices had received the stable Android 11 update in December last year after getting around a dozen Beta builds (in Germany).

In October, Samsung has started rolling out November 2020 security patch. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the first device that received the latest security patch. Followed by Galaxy XCover Pro and Galaxy A02 Core for the second and third devices to receive this update respectively.

Adding to this, the November 2020 security patch has already received by several smartphones including the Galaxy Note 20, S20, Note 10, S10, S9 series smartphone. On the other hand, some Galaxy users from different countries are still waiting for November 2020 security update to hit their device.

The November 2020 security patch from Samsung fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Samsung phones including 5 Critical, 29 High, and 31 Moderate levels of CVEs. No low level of CVEs found in this month’s security patch.

The security patch updates are still being released for many devices in several smartphone markets. Samsung rolls out the security patch in two different schedules that are monthly and quarterly.

The company’s flagship devices receive monthly updates for two years and later quarterly updates for two more years. In 2018, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 9 along with powerful hardware and software capabilities. This S-pen powered smartphone was also awarded as the ‘Best Phone of the year’ by Consumer Reports.

Talking of major updates, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is receiving the One UI 2.5 update and new system security. The One UI update for Samsung brings many new features and enhancements to the Galaxy devices including new Wi-Fi quality measurement that will now show speed as Very Fast, Fast, Normal, or Slow.

It now supports the Bitmoji stickers to be displayed on the Always-on Display screen, there are enhancements in the Samsung Keyboard with a new feature added to keyboard search that allows you to search Youtube.

Furthermore, it improves the quality and stability of the camera for an enhanced shooting experience, a new feature has been added the message that allows users to send SOS location-sharing message every 30 minutes for 24 hours.
