Breaking: Samsung April 2022 security update released for Galaxy S22

Samsung has just begun rolling out the April 2022 Android security patch update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone users. Alongside enhancing the security and stability of the device, the update comes with various improvements.

As per the changelog, Samsung Galaxy S22 April 2022 update improves camera usability. Flash now supports close focus operation while UHD 30/60 video recording performance is optimized in low memory situations.

It also improves View Cover usability – swipe the clock to the right to provide a list of notifications. Additionally, the latest update installs upgrades for 13 stock apps in order to enhance the overall device performance and provide you with seamless performance.

It should be noted that Samsung Galaxy S22 April 2022 update is currently only released in South Korea. However, it’s expected to reach all users in the coming days or weeks. The April 2022 security patch details will uncover in a couple of weeks. However, it’s obvious that there will be fixes for various of CVEs and SVEs from Google and Samsung.

You can check and download this update on your device by visiting Settings. From here tap Software update and click Download and install. After the device checks available software rollout, click Download now to get it into your phone.
