In addition to Nightography, the Galaxy S22 series smartphones also have a Zoom Lock, a concept that combines the powerful sensor and AI (Artificial Intelligence) of the Galaxy S22 processor to ensure clear and bright photos even in low-light conditions, which ensures fewer shake photos with low vibration and high fluidity and resolution.

One UI 4.1-based Zoom Lock feature

This One UI 4.1-based Zoom Lock feature locks the image capture to a fixed focus and maintains the zoom point even when you shake the smartphone to move it, which is normal during the show. This dramatic shake reduction was made possible by combining optical and electronic image stabilization with the artificial intelligence of Galaxy smartphones.

How to use Zoom Lock on Galaxy S22?

To enable Zoom Lock on the Galaxy S22  is easy – open the Camera app and then pinch the screen to zoom in until a second viewfinder appears in the upper right corner of the display.

Then point the Galaxy S22 lens at the text, screen, or person. The smartphone camera now analyzes the image and the second display in the upper right corner is underlined in yellow, indicating that the Zoom Lock is activated automatically.

Once activated, the difference in stabilization is immediately apparent – the fewer shakes, the more important the subject of your photo gets the importance it deserves.

Samsung One UI 4.1-based Director’s View

In addition to the Zoom Lock, the Galaxy S22 smartphone also comes with the amazing Director’s View feature. With it, the selfie sensor can record your favorite artist’s show by switching between rear cameras while simultaneously recording your reaction. This is the perfect way to record every moment you share with friends.
