WhatsApp finally bringing ‘Message Reaction’ feature to Android widely
Many of us are already aware and experience the messages reaction feature which is already available in other chat applications, Whastapp is always late when it comes to implementing the popular features, but now finally the company is testing the messages reaction feature for Android users.
WhatsApp messages reaction feature will work as on most other platforms. This allows users to long-press on a message to access the additional floating menu for actions they can perform on the message. The list allows users to bookmark, copy or forward messages, or delete them permanently. However, there is a drop-down list that appears below the message.

According to the WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is now testing out the messages’ reaction feature to some Android beta testers running version 220.127.116.11 of the app. The message reaction includes six reactions which are Like, Love, Laugh, Suprised, Sad, and Thanks.
This is not so surprising in recent weeks, WhatsApp has released the ability to manage response notifications in WhatsApp beta for iOS and WhatsApp Desktop beta. And the company will soon officially release this feature for Android users soon.
Unfortunately, this seems to be a very small test, so only a few beta testers can respond to messages, but now everyone can see the message response. If you can not respond to messages, then don’t worry the future stable update will definitely bring this feature for you.

WhatsApp has reportedly added a new button within the video call control panel. Once enabled, you will be prompted to share your screen with the person connected on the call.
This feature will record and share everything displayed on your screen with the recipient. However, the feature may not work perfectly now as the recipient’s WhatsApp may not be on the latest build of Beta.
In addition, users may notice some minor changes regarding the new bottom navigation bar elements’ arrangement after updating to WhatsApp Beta for Android 184.108.40.206.
Following a successful Beta run, WhatsApp will roll out the new screen-sharing feature and the new placement for tabs within the bottom navigation bar to more users over the coming weeks.
