Samsung has officially unveiled the new Galaxy S22 series and the new Galaxy Tab S8 series with the latest S Pen. In fact, with the two new Samsung Galaxy devices, the Samsung Notes application is a big boost to both the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Tab S8.

One of the biggest new features of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the so-called Quick Notes. With Quick Notes on Samsung Notes, users can now skip the copy-after-paste process. Specifically, when using specific apps with the new S Pen.

Currently, when Galaxy S22 Ultra users are using apps such as Samsung Internet, Gallery or Messages, links and page attachments can be attached to Samsung Notes. Pulling the S Pen out of its slot. Doing so will display a new Air Command menu option. For example, website visitors will quickly link or attach new Samsung Notes to Quick Note.

The S Pen can also be used from all the way across the room like a remote, even in Samsung DeX mode. By clicking on the S Pen button, you can quickly and elegantly present the presentation slides or use it to play media or take photos while you relax and enjoy a quiet moment.

How to convert handwriting into text with your Galaxy S22 Ultra’s S Pen

  • Remove your S Pen and tap Create a note from the S Pen menu.
  • Choose Pen mode from the toolbar at the bottom. It’s the second tool from the left, after the keyboard symbol.
  • Use Pen mode to select a drawing tool, color, and line thickness and then create or add to your freehand note.
  • Using your finger, scroll up to generate more blank pages when required.
    • Save your note at any time by tapping the More options menu in the top-right corner and then Save as a file.
  • To digitalize your writing, tap the Convert to text symbol. It looks like a doodle with an upper case T.
  • Adjust the selection field to exclude diagrams or doodles you do not wish to convert to text.
  • Tap Copy to copy and paste the digital notes elsewhere, or Convert to change your notes into digital text.
  • Share or save your note using the more options menu.

The Auto switch to other devices function allows your Galaxy Buds to automatically connect to the phone or tablet you’re using when you start a call or play media. This way, you don’t have to worry about missing a call or pausing your music when you switch devices. You can enjoy seamless audio across your Samsung devices.

To use this feature, you need to sign in to the same Samsung account on both your phone and tablet. This feature may vary depending on your device, so make sure you have the latest software update on both devices. You also need to enable Bluetooth on both devices and pair your Galaxy Buds with them.
