PSA: Samsung Galaxy A72 gets RAM Plus with February 2022 update
Recently, Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphone users started getting the February 2022 Android security patch update. Alongside bringing several bug fixes, app enhancements, the update also installs Samsung’s most anticipated feature – RAM Plus.
Samsung RAM Plus or Virtual RAM is capable of increasing the RAM from 2GB to 8GB, depending on the device. With Samsung Galaxy A72 RAM Plus, you can allow your smartphone to use its internal storage in order to increase the RAM, making it virtual.

What exactly does Samsung RAM Plus do? The purpose of virtual RAM is to make memory management better. It basically aimed at improving the performance of applications for a better user experience. Do note that the extended RAM is not capable of enhancing your phone’s performance.
You may have noticed that apps wouldn’t stay in memory between relatively short usage periods. Although this isn’t a huge deal, Samsung RAM Plus solves this issue. It helps your phone open more apps on RAM and reduce the launch time of apps while enhancing the multitasking experience on the device.
Samsung Galaxy A72 RAM Plus – How to extend?
- Unlock your Galaxy phone and tab to Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on Battery and Device Care.
- From their tap on Memory.
- At last, you’ll find an option – RAM Plus.
- Select how much internal storage to use as virtual memory to improve app performance.

Samsung is releasing the September 2023 update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in India. The new update installs the latest security patch to improve system security and stability.
September 2023 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series in India arrives with the One UI build version mentioned below.

The installtion package size of this update is 389.60MB. This update focuses mainly on security fixes and does not introduce any new features or changes. According to the changelog, the update fixes over 60 issues found in smartphones and tablets in the previous version.
