Verizon rolls out One UI 7 update for Samsung Galaxy S23 devices in the US [Locked]

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Verizon has begun deploying the highly anticipated One UI 7 update for Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra devices across the United States, marking a significant milestone for Galaxy users. It is currently available for the locked Verizon units in the country,

This Android 15-based update, which started on April 22, 2025, brings a refreshed user interface, enhanced AI features, and improved performance to Samsung’s 2023 flagship lineup. The update follows a phased global rollout that began in South Korea earlier this month, with the US now joining the wave of regions receiving the stable build.

The One UI 7 introduces a sleek, modern design with a simplified home screen, updated widgets, and a customizable lock screen. A standout feature is the Now Bar, which delivers real-time updates like workout stats or media playback directly on the lock screen, enhancing user convenience.

The update also boosts Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite, offering tools like Audio Eraser for noise-free recordings, smarter writing assistance, and call-recording summaries. The April 2025 security patch is included, ensuring robust protection against vulnerabilities.

About the One UI 7 rollout, it was initially paused due to a lock screen bug affecting some Galaxy S24 devices, and resumed after Samsung addressed the issue. Verizon’s carrier-locked S23 devices are now receiving the update, with a download size of approximately 5 GB. Users are advised to connect to Wi-Fi and ensure a sufficient battery before installing.

To check for the update, navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. While Verizon has begun the rollout, AT&T and T-Mobile users should start receiving the update soon.

Samsung Galaxy A56 has just received its first software update in Europe. This update brings the latest April 2025 security patch and also confirms an exciting feature that is seamless updates.

The fresh update for the Samsung Galaxy A56 smartphone in Europe comes with version number A566BXXS2AYD3 and a package size of over 411 MB. It doesn’t add any new features or noticeable changes, but it does improve your phone’s security with the latest patch.

Samsung had already promised that the Galaxy A56 will get security updates for six years, with monthly updates for the first few years. This is the first step in keeping that promise. The Galaxy A26 and A36 were also launched recently and got their first updates earlier, and now it’s the A56’s turn.

You don’t have to wait for a notification to get this update. If you want, you can check for it manually by going to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.

After the update is downloaded, it will install in the background. Once it’s done, just restart your phone to complete the process. This update makes the Galaxy A56 more secure and stable.

Samsung Galaxy A26 does not support Seamless Updates, unlike A36 and A56
