Leaker PandaFlashPro revealed that Samsung equipped the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 with “7” style wallpaper, which integrates seamless transition and glow effects for switching the view from lock screen to home screen.

The source mentioned a “smooth glow” transition between the lock screen and the home screen. This is something Samsung has introduced in the S25 series earlier this year. Based on One UI 8, the new glow animation would feel even better and reliable.

The Galaxy S25 series debuted unique “S” style wallpapers. The pictures are crafted keeping in mind a seamless glow effect. Similarly, the next-gen foldables will feature special “7” number style wallpapers with smooth glow animations.

Samsung is already teasing Ultra experiences in its upcoming devices. The Fold 7, in particular, is getting a larger screen and a 200MP camera. Galaxy AI would also feature a notable boost, built on the new One UI 8 with Android 16.

According to reliable tipster @yaabhishekhd, Samsung is expected to launch its new foldable phones, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7, in India in the third week of July 2025. This timeline lines up with Samsung’s usual launch pattern for foldables, which mainly takes place around mid to late July.

In the new foldable lineup, Samsung is expected to launch three models, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and a third model, which might be called the Galaxy Z Flip FE. The exact name of the third phone is not confirmed yet.

Along with the foldable phones, Samsung will repotedly unveil its new smartwatches. These include the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. These new watches may come with better health tracking features, improved battery life, new design, and faster performance.

Samsung prepares to expand Galaxy Buds lineup with two new models

Samsung introduced the Galaxy A56 along with the A36 and A26 in early March. Since then, the company has gradually expanded its availability to Global markets. Meanwhile, Samsung remains silent on the US launch of the Galaxy A56 5G.

Well, that’s now changing. A new report says Samsung has started developing the One UI firmware for the Galaxy A56 US variant. It’s a key development prior to the phone’s long-awaited debut in the market.

Per the latest info via SamMobile, Samsung is developing firmware for SM-A566U1. This model will be sold as the Galaxy A56 5G in the U.S. as a carrier-unlocked unit; details about carrier-specific availability aren’t available yet.

At the initial launch, Samsung revealed that the Galaxy A56 will be available in the U.S. “later this year.” Now, behind-the-scenes work indicates the same that the mid-range powerhouse would hit the U.S. market in the next few months.

Is Samsung saving the S24 FE?

Samsung may be aware that the Galaxy A56 is better than the S24 FE in some aspects. The S24 FE belongs to a flagship lineup with full-fledged AI features supported, but the A56 could cost $150 less and offer a decent value for money.

The S24 FE starts at $649 in the U.S., featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. With the same memory configuration, the A56 would be available in the U.S. at $499. It will still have a nice chipset, certain AI features, and a premium design.

Will Galaxy A56 boot One UI 8 in the U.S.?

It’s highly likely. Samsung is in the process of revealing the One UI 8 with new foldables next month. The Beta Program is already live for the S25 series in six countries, including the U.S., UK, Germany, India, Poland, and South Korea.

While the Global model runs One UI 7 out of the box, the U.S. launch with One UI 8 software would bring the Galaxy A56 an edge. It will ramp up the sales potential in the country, bringing elevated software and Galaxy AI tricks.

It is only possible if the launch takes place after a wide One UI 8 rollout.
