Later last year, Samsung had started to deliver the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 upgrade for the Galaxy S21 smartphone lineup in various regions. Later on, the company had expanded this major software’s reach to more of its flagships including the Galaxy S10 and Note 10.

A few weeks later, the Korean tech giant has further expanded the One UI 4.0 update to the Galaxy A72, Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A42 smartphone users. Since then, the company has not yet released the Android 12 update to any of its eligible smartphones or tablet.

Undoubtedly, the users of last year’s Galaxy A and M series smartphones are eagerly waiting to upgrade to the Android 12-based One UI 4. Samsung Android 12 upgrade rollout has been stalled for the last two months, meanwhile, no one knows the reason.

One UI 4.1

Along with the Galaxy S22 series, the Korean tech giant had introduced the new One UI 4.1 software, based on Android 12. This mid-cycle One UI 4 version comes with a handful of additional features as well as better optimization with the Android 12 OS.

During the Android 11 release last year, Samsung skipped delivering the One UI 3.0 to the devices receiving the major OS upgrade after the One UI 3.1 arrival. Several Galaxy A and M series smartphones have directly received the One UI version 3.1 with the Android 11 OS.

Accordingly, we can expect the same occurrence this year when it comes to Galaxy A and M series phones. Well, there’s no information on when will the company restart its halted One UI 4 update rollout. Meanwhile, Google has already started working on the Android 13 OS that will bring One UI 5 to Samsung phones.
