Samsung will fix a major One UI 7 bug with One UI 8 update

Samsung is planning to improve the Toast History feature within the Nice Catch Good Lock module suite with One UI 8 support. This feature helps users see a list of small pop-up messages that appear on their phones.
In the One UI 7 software, many users noticed a problem with this feature. Instead of showing the full message in the toast notification history, it only shows which app sent the toast. The actual message content is missing.
Previously, users could view the text content of toast notifications. But this functionality is not working as previously, causing inconvenience.
Notably, the Toast History feature in Nice Catch is designed to provide users with a list of all toast notifications that have appeared on their device. Toasts are small, temporary pop-up messages that apps use to deliver brief information. This is useful for checking what notifications have appeared or for fixing problems with apps.

For that, a community moderator has explained that there was a problem with getting the toast message history in One UI 7. Samsung is aware of this and says they will fix it with One UI 8 support.
The moderator mentioned that the company plans to resolve the Toast History issue and reintroduce full toast content visibility with the support of One UI 8 for Nice Catch.
Users can expect a more reliable and detailed Toast History function in One UI 8. The company is working to restore the ability to view the full text of each toast notification. It is expected that Samsung will soon make the Nice Catch module compatible with One UI 8.
At the moment, the latest foldable users are enjoying the One UI 8 features. However, Galaxy S25 series users are also testing them, but through the One UI Beta Program. The company will soon start the One UI 8 rollout for older Galaxy devices. Stay tuned.

Samsung Auto Dex feature gives you a car-friendly screen when you connect your phone to a car display. It combines two the Samsung Auto app and Samsung DeX, which usually turns your phone into a desktop-like screen. But instead of showing a desktop, it shows a car-friendly interface with big buttons and easy access to apps you need while driving.
Even though Samsung Auto is officially available only in China, many users have found ways to use it on phones in other countries. A recent test on the Galaxy A55 showed that even phones without official DeX support can run it smoothly.

Samsung shrinks a Good Lock app support to Galaxy S Ultra phones

Samsung has updated its Pentastic app, which is a Good Lock suite. The latest update tweaks the Pentastic app support on Samsung Galaxy devices.
The Pentastic app is made for Galaxy devices with an S Pen and lets users customize how the S Pen works. The new update arrives with version 2.3.09 and brings some important changes to improve how the app works.
The fresh update for the Pentastic app will now only work on Samsung devices that support Air Command. Air Command is a special menu that appears when you remove the S Pen or press its button. It gives quick access to S Pen features and shortcuts.

Since Pentastic is made to customize this menu, Samsung has decided to limit the app to only those devices that have Air Command. This means you won’t be able to use Pentastic on devices without this feature.
Moreover, this update brings the latest stabilization code. While Samsung didn’t give many details, this usually means the app will run more smoothly, with fewer bugs and crashes.
Users should notice a more stable and reliable experience when using Pentastic after updating. You can download the update easily from the Galaxy Store >> Menu option >> Updates. Also, you can download the update from the Good Lock app itself.
This update helps make sure only compatible devices use the app, and it also improves performance. If you use the S Pen often, keeping Pentastic updated will give you a better experience.
