OnePlus is reportedly planning for bigger surprises at the end of 2022 or the beginning of the next year. Reportedly, the company is working on a foldable screen smartphone by bringing tsunami to the Global smartphone market by launching its very first foldable handset.

In a group interview with Android Central, OnePlus software lead Gary Chen left a hint that we are working with Google on the company’s flagship devices, including foldable phones, and the new features that can be introduced for them in OxygenOS 13.

For a limited number of consumers, this foldable phone could blow their minds. It is because this time OnePlus is going to provide tough competition to the undoubted and undisputed king of foldable smartphones ‘Samsung’ in the foldable phone market.

It seems that OnePlus has got a boon from the bishop in the world of foldable smartphones, and is planning accordingly. Recent leaks suggest that the phone could be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 in terms of features and specifications.

Though we all know the Korean Tech Giant, Samsung came up as a top foldable brand of the year 2021, and it is readily available to the masses, OnePlus is also trying to spread its roots in the world of foldable around the world. However imaging the after launch scenario, seemingly, it could be limited to the home ground only.

The reason behind launching this phone could be pretty clear, as other Chinese foldable device such as OPPO Find N and Huawei Mate X2, is still not accessible out of China. Is ‘OnePlus’ trying to play a brain game, ‘surely it is.’
