- Tap on Download and install.

Samsung is rolling out the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S20 FE smartphones in Germany. Although the update comes with several new and impressive features, it installs the December 2021 Android security patch instead of January 2022.

Yesterday, Samsung began rolling out the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphones in India. Now its 4G variant – Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G is getting this update in the country.
The Galaxy S20 FE 4G Android 12 update comes with One UI 4.0 build version G780FXXS8DUL6. Alongside the latest changes and features offered by the tech giant, this update also installs the December 2021 Android security patch for better system security and stability.

Samsung is working fast on providing the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update to its eligible smartphones. So far, a bunch of Galaxy devices have received the update, with the Galaxy S20 FE 5G being the latest to grab Android 12. Currently, the update is rolling out in India and will soon reach other markets.
The Galaxy S20 FE Android 12 update comes with the One UI 4.0 build version G781BXXU4DUL9. It brings multiple new features and changes along with the December 2021 Android security patch that enhances the system’s performance and protects it from bugs and viruses.

You can now install the Android 12 update on your Galaxy S20 FE smartphone manually. Go to Setting > System updates > Download and install, check for available updates and finally click on Download now and then restart to experience the latest changes.
Do note that this update carries a heavy package size, therefore, you should use an unmetered connection of WiFi while downloading it. Also, make sure to prepare a backup for your important data. However, this update will not move any of your files, we are just suggesting you have extra safety measures.

Samsung rolls out October 2024 update to Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6
Samsung has pushed the October 2024 security update for its Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 devices. The update is initially available for these devices’ users in Europe and the US, with plans to expand to other regions soon.
The new update enhances system security and stability by addressing various issues to improve overall device performance. The latest security patch includes critical updates from both Google and Samsung.
Notably, Google’s patch resolves 2 critical vulnerabilities and 28 high-level issues, although one of these issues was previously addressed, and two do not apply to Galaxy devices.
On the other side, 12 Samsung vulnerabilities have been fixed which are related to system services and Knox to ensure a more secure user experience. Additionally, Samsung Semiconductor has also added a fix to boost performance.

To manually check for updates, users can navigate to their phone’s Settings, scroll to the Software Update section, and select the “Download and Install” option if a new OTA is available.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 come pre-installed with Android 14 based on One UI 6.1.1. These foldable devices are set to receive the next major One UI update, expected to be available to developers by year’s end.
A community moderator revealed that a One UI 7 Beta program will soon be accessible to regular Galaxy users. However, details regarding eligible devices and schedules are yet to be confirmed.

Samsung is rolling out the October 2024 security update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 models in Europe, following the US. The update brings fixes for some issues that users encountered in previous versions to make your Galaxy S24 more stable and secure.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series are getting an October 2024 security update in Europe with the One UI build version given below.

Users will have to download a 460MB package to install the update. The company will soon make this update available for all models.
