Samsung has launched the all-new Galaxy S22 series in global markets and will start shipping pre-orders before the end of this month. However, the official website is only now providing a little clarity on what refresh rate the phones will be.

Last week, when Samsung introduced the Galaxy S22 series, it announced that all three variants are capable of 10Hz to 120Hz refresh rates. But a few days later, the company quietly changed the details on its official website.

According to the new information (via Ross Young), only the top model – Galaxy S22 Ultra offers a 10Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the other two devices – Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ are equipped with only 48Hz to 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays.

This however means that neither of these two phones uses the LTPO backplane but relies on the LTPS one. Unluckily, Samsung has not revealed the reason behind the commercializing the false information.

It looks like reviewers will discover the lack of 10Hz support during their inspection and then Samsung can explain the reasons behind the deceptive advertising. Until then, the company may continue with its false commercialization of Galaxy S22 and  S22+ displays.
