Back in December, we have come to know that WhatsApp is planning to release a new voice call interface for Android users. Now, the company has officially released the new design through the latest WhatsApp beta update.

The fresh WhatsApp update that can be identified via the build version 2.22.5.3 brings this new design. However, not all beta testers are getting this feature. Currently, it is only rolled out for select users while it will further expand to more users in near future.

The new WhatsApp Voice Call interface is what we have seen a couple of months ago. It has a rounded gray square that can be seen front and center, holding your contact’s name, number, and profile picture as well as how long the call has been going for.

Not only this but the company is also redesigning the interface when you place a group voice call, bringing voice waveforms for all participants during the call. You can check the screenshot mentioned above.

Besides these, WABetainfo also says although there’s no way to customize the background wallpaper now, it can be possible in the future.
