On February 10, 2022, Google announced (via 9to5Google) the Android 13 operating system, at the same time, began the Developer Preview ahead of its expected release later this year. However, it’s worth mentioning that the mid-cycle version, Android 12L is still under the Beta program.

Starting today, Google Pixel smartphone owners can sideload the Android 13 Factory Images to take a too early look at this major OS switch. With the Developer Preview activity, Google lets app makers and Pixel owners help the company to grow and optimize the new Android version.
