On 08 February 2022, to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2022, Samsung UK is announcing the Online Together project as part of a successful partnership with Internet Matters that focuses on working together to keep young people safe online.

This year, Safe Internet Day (SID) will be held on February 8 and this year’s theme is “All Fun & Games? Find Respect and Relationships Online.” And this promotes the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people while seeking to inspire a national conversation.

Samsung promotes a family-centered approach to fostering a secure, positive and inclusive culture online and is an online interactive quiz tool designed for families to use together through the Online Together project. The quiz looks at the theme of challenging gender stereotypes which aligns with the Safer Internet Day 2022 themes of respect and relationships.

The Online Together project aims to help parents and guardians identify and challenge gender stereotypes online for their children, fostering respectful dialogue and encouraging acceptance of others regardless of their differences.

Internet Matters, which is built on collaboration through partnerships with industry, has successfully delivered a number of influential campaigns on issues including cyberbullying, sexting, privacy, online grooming and inappropriate content, to parents, caregivers and teachers. Offering practical, step-by-step advice.

Samsung officially launched the Galaxy A35 5G smartphone in the US. The phone comes at a price tag of $399 in the market, bringing Exynos chipset, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, a modern punch-hole display, and a long-lasting battery.

The Galaxy A35 5G sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultrawide, and 5-megapixel macro lens. It has a 13-megapixel selfie camera in a hole punch on the display.

Similar to its global variant, the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G brings the Exynos 1380 chipset to the US. It’s packed with a 5000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. The phone is available in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.

The device comes pre-loaded with Android 14-based One UI 6.1, with Samsung guaranteed 4 generations of OS upgrades. In case you want Galaxy AI magic, remove the A35 5G from your purchase list and opt for the Galaxy S24 or Galaxy S23 series.
