The back table, which houses part of the slider screen, always has room for the S Pen carving. Above the S Pen is another unit, which could be for the camera sensors.

The right edge will be used as a small screen to display notifications or open apps. I’ve seen a few custom Android skins that provide a sidebar feature that allows users to launch the app the way they want. The Samsung Slider phone may have similar features, but with a special screen.

Notable no any other feature reveals, Samsung has previously shown screens that have dual-fold, triple-fold, and even sliding devices. Given that the company has been teasing its display innovations.

Apart from this, OnePlus’ Louis also highlighted that “this chip” would have a custom architecture and was designed by the team behind “epoch-making PC chips.” It’s another confirmation the next Snapdragon chip will feature custom Oryon CPU cores.

Qualcomm will introduce Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset next month. The company has developed the Oryon CPU, which previously debuted in Snapdragon X PC processors. It’s the same chip as the Galaxy S25 Ultra will surely flaunt.

OnePlus 13

Previously, it was revealed that OnePLus 13 will feature an IP68/IP69 rating, a 6.8-inch 2K screen, and a huge battery (6,000mAh+). The triple camera setup could consist of a 50MP LYT-808 main camera and two 50MP LYT-600 cameras (3x and ultrawide).

Well, Samsung is making some major changes in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The design is getting revamped with hardware specs are also getting upgraded. There will be a total of three 50MP cameras, a 200MP sensor alongside a selfie camera.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy could power the S25 Ultra. It will have a slight performance boost over the standard Snapdragon. However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will lag behind the OnePlus 13 in terms of battery capacity and charging speed.

OnePlus 13 would be available in the United States as well. It will present pro-grade hardware specs at aggressive pricing to the market. Despite these factors, the company won’t be able to eat much slice from Samsung’s share in the market.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Vs Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max

Hours ahead of the iPhone 16 launch, an analyst revealed Apple’s shipment forecast. The company has reportedly raised shipment forecast but it isn’t good news. Apple iPhone 16 might face intensifying challenges from Samsung in 2024 and beyond.

Ming-Chi Kuo notes Apple has slightly raised the iPhone 16 shipment target from 87-88M to 88-89M units. It is said that the company increased its initial target eyeing high sales of the Standard model of the upcoming iPhone 16 series.

Despite rising forecasts, the iPhone 16 target remains below the iPhone 15’s 91M in 2023. Well, shipment distribution within the iPhone 16 series is projected as follows: approximately 26% for the iPhone 16, 6% for Plus, 30% for Pro, and 38% for Pro Max.

The third quarter, as always, will be fruitful for Apple thanks to the new iPhone launch. The iPhone 16 sales could rise by nearly 10% YoY compared to the iPhone 15. The growth sounds positive but was influenced by weaker iPhone 15 Pro Max sales in Q3 last year.

iPhone 16 series could reach around 63 million units shipments in Q4, reflecting 5-7% YoY decline. In the first quarter of the next year, sales could decline significantly by 53–55% QoQ due to Samsung’s new hardware launch.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra at the beginning of 2025. The lineup will crush Apple’s thunder in the Global market. There are many notable upgrades rumored, which will give endless headaches to Apple shortly.

The Galaxy S24 series will also give tough competition to Apple in key markets. The company’s aggressive pricing and potential discount season in India is expected to give a significant push to the sales numbers of Galaxy.
