Released back in November 2021, the One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 is currently available for several Samsung devices. This new software brings plenty of new features, additional privacy tools, optimized performance with third-party apps, and more.

So far, Samsung released the major One UI 4.0 update to all the flagship Galaxy lineups including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy S10. At the same time, all of the company’s foldable screen smartphones have also upgraded to the Android OS 12.

It’s worth mentioning that the Korean tech giant impressively managed to deliver the new software to its flagship devices, however, we didn’t see the same treatment for a new (eligible) Galaxy device for two weeks. And Samsung fans having a 2021 Galaxy A or M phone are eagerly waiting to get Android 12.

These famous 2021 Samsung phones should get Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update ASAP.

Galaxy S22 launch delaying Android 12 rollout

Samsung officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone lineup – Galaxy S22 will be launched on February 9th, at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. Therefore, the company is busy preparing the big Galaxy S22 launch event, which seems the reason behind a break in its rapid One UI 4.0 distribution.

One UI 4.1 to release directly?

Along with the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung will also introduce the One UI version 4.1, which will also be based on Android 12. The new software will exclusively debut with the upcoming flagship smartphone lineup, which will be rolled out to eligible Galaxy devices later on.

Last year, Samsung started to provide the Android 11 update to the mid-range and budget Galaxy devices after the launch of the Galaxy S21 series. Interestingly, the company directly pushed the One UI 3.1 version with the Android 11 OS upgrade by skipping the 3.0 version of One UI.
