Samsung SmartThings Find feature helps you locate Galaxy devices quickly and easily. SmartThings Find uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technologies to help individuals locate selected Galaxy smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and earbuds.
After completing the quick registration process, SmartThings users can easily find their Galaxy devices – from smartphones, tablets and smartwatches to individual earbuds.

If the device stays offline for 30 minutes, it produces a BLE signal that can be received by other devices. If you report your device as lost via SmartThings Find, any nearby Galaxy smartphone or tablet that has opted in to help find lost devices can ask Samsung servers for its location. may alert you, which in turn will notify you.

First way!
From the Life tab
- Tap on Life> Tap on Smart Things Find Promotion Card.
From the Galaxy Wearable app
- Tap on Galaxy Wearable App> ‘Find My Earbuds’ or ‘Find My Clock’.
Second way!
Try an offline Finding and Search Nearby!
Even if you lose your device while you are offline, do not panic. Find your device easily with ‘Offline Search’. Receive notifications with ‘Find Near’ when your device is nearby.
How to do it
- Enable ‘Let Notify me when it is found’ to find your lost Galaxy device even if it is not connected to the network.
- A popup message will appear when the lost device is detected.
- Press ‘Navigate‘ to track the lost device.
- Press ‘Search nearby‘ to find the detailed location.
What is Offline Finding?
One of the key features of SmartThings Find is that once you select ‘Offline finding‘, it allows you to search your Galaxy phone through other people’s Galaxy devices, enabling ‘Offline Search’. ‘Let’s make a choice. Also, let your phone be used to scan the lost devices of other people who enable nearby ‘Offline finding‘.
Tips: To use ‘Offline finding’, the device lost with ‘Offline Search’ must be in the battery when turned on and there must be other Galaxy devices nearby that allow ‘Offline finding’.

How to do it
- On the ‘Member‘ device, press ‘Invite Member‘. You can choose between ‘Send invitation‘ or ‘QR code‘ to invite a member.
- Friends or family members who accept the invitation must ‘Accept‘ the invitation.
- Go to ‘My Devices‘ and then enable ‘Share this device location’. You and your friend’s device location is now shared!
Tips: Only devices shared by their owners will appear on this list. If you want to add members in the future, you can add them from ‘Manage locations’ in SmartThings.

Samsung Gallery albums missing after One UI 6.1.1 update? Check these quick solutions

What’s the Issue?
After the major One UI 6.1.1 update, some users have found that when they select an album group in the Gallery app, their photos are not visible. Instead, the album seems to disappear entirely.
The issue often happens when you have albums with the same name activated in two different features – the album hiding function and the album merge feature. When both are turned on, it can cause albums to disappear or not display correctly.
Samsung’s Response
Samsung is aware of this issue and the community moderator has confirmed that it’s a known issue affecting users after the One UI 6.1.1 update.

Quick Solutions
If you’re experiencing problems with your albums, there are two solutions you can try:
1.) Disable Albums with the same name in the Hide Album Feature
For that, you just need to open the Samsung Gallery app on your device >> tap the More Options icon (Three vertical dots) >> Select Hide Album option >> Look for albums that have the same name and turn them off.
2.) Turn Off the Album Merge Feature
To do so, launch the Samsung Gallery app >> click on the More icon at the bottom to enter Settings >> check the option for Merge Album and switch it off.
By following these steps, you should be able to see your photo albums again. You can also check software updates and a Gallery app update. If any of them are available on your smartphone, install them now to get a better experience.
