Samsung One UI 4.0 vs OnePlus OxygenOS 12: Quick Setting

The Notification Shade or Quick Setting is probably one of the most important and defining aspects of Android. Quick Setting is a feature that leads you to options for almost all everyday usage cases on your phone by tapping your device screen once. Also, the way Android Skin manages and displays information here is very important.
Although One UI 4.0 is based on Android 12, like other Android phone manufacturers, Samsung also adopts open-source Android (AOSP) and implements it under the One UI software system for smartphones and other user-oriented devices makes the basis.
However, Samsung One UI 4.0 changed the quick settings in an interesting way and we compare it to the OnePlus OxygenOS 12 Quick Settings here.
One UI 4.0 vs Oxygen OS 12 – Quick Setting
Naturally, both skins show all your notifications here. You can swipe notifications or long-click on one to see additional options related to that application. However, the design of the shadows, as well as what information is shown, is different in each skin.
When you first remove the notification shade, both One UI 4 and Oxygen OS 12 show you the same information. The first six Quick Settings tiles show date, time and status bar information. Both skins also provide you with a quick shortcut to go to the Android settings which are indicated by a small gear icon.
Although the two Android skins differ in how they lay out this information, each of them has access to all of those features.

One UI 4.0 Quick Settings
Earlier, One UI showed a lot of extra information here. However, now it goes the extra mile with Oxygen OS. It has a brightness slider on the first pull of the drawer, which is not in One UI. Meanwhile, One UI shows shortcut icons for device control and media output by default. You can turn them off if you do not want them there.
When you lower the notification shade a second time in Oxygen OS, you’ll see a few quick settings and a shortcut to edit their layout. If you enable it, you will also see a shortcut to the user profile settings. This feature allows you to create different profiles for your phone, one for you and the other for your children.

Oxygen OS 12 Quick Setting
You can do one for your job and one while at home. You can easily switch from one profile to another without leaving the notification shade. By default, Samsung provides an overflow menu with One UI 4 search shortcut, brightness slider, power menu shortcut and more.
In the Overflow menu, you can change the order of the tiles in Quick Settings, turn off the previously mentioned Samsung Media and Samsung device shortcuts, move the Brightness slider so that it just appears with a pull and take the shortcut to replace the bar icons.
