Samsung Galaxy S22 is a compact entry into the high-end sector. It will come equipped with a 6.1 inch OLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 1500 nits. The touchscreen is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus.

Moreover, the product is powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 2200 4nm octa-core processor that is paired with AMD RDNA 2 graphics, 8 GB RAM, and either 128 GB or 256 GB flash memory. It will run an Android 12 based One UI 4.1 (releasing on February 9) software system out of the box.

As far as cameras are concerned, the device sports a 50MP triple rear camera setup that includes 50MP wide-angle, 12MP ultra-wide angle, and 10MP telephoto cameras with up to 3x zoom. On the front, there’s a 10MP punch-hole selfie shooter.

Other than these, the device features a 3700 mAh battery that supports both, fast charging as well as Qi charging. And, it can be charged through USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 or wirelessly. Other features include Wi-Fi 6 (WLAN-ax), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68 water resistance.

Samsung Galaxy S22+:

Samsung Galaxy S22+ has a larger Dynamic AMOLED 6.6-inch display with the same 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1750 nits brightness. It also equips the Exynos 2200 chip with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of flash memory.

The device will also come pre-installed with the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 operating system and will have 50 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP triple rear cameras in addition to a 10MP front camera. Apart from this, the Galaxy S22+ has a battery capacity of 4,500mAh with fast charging and Qi charging support.

Lastly, the radio connections and the IP68 protection against water and dust are also identical to the base variant. Also, both phones will be available in black, white, green, and pink gold colors.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra:

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is quite different from the two models, in terms of specifications as well as design. The device comes with a slightly angular Infinity-O Edge design that is also curved towards the long sides.

It features a 6.8-inch OLED display with 3080 x 1440 pixels resolution, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and a maximum brightness of 1750 nits. However, it is also powered by the same Exynos 2200 chipset that is paired with either 8 GB + 128 GB or 12 GB RAM + 256 GB.

The smartphone features a quad camera setup that includes a 108MP wide-angle, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle, and two 10MP telephoto cameras. On the other hand, there’s a 40 MP camera for capturing selfies and video calls.

Moving on, the product sports a 5,000mAh battery that too supports fast charging and Qi charging. Unlike the other two models, the Ultra includes an S-Pen, which can be retracted into the case. It is a new Ultra version that can be seen as the successor to the discontinued Note series.

Besides these, the phone has the same connectivity options as the rest of the S22 family, such as WLAN-ax, USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G, and an under-display -fingerprint sensor. It is available in black, white, green, and burgundy pink colors.
