Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is coming on February 9. The device is reportedly more expensive than its predecessor – Galaxy S21 Ultra. Still, people are waiting to grab one. Unfortunately, it looks like fans will have to wait for three months to get their hands on one.

According to a new information by tipster Dohyun Kim, Samsung is hoping to sell more Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones than it can make. The company thinks that it will have trouble keeping up with the demands. Hence, it will delay the launch of the Galaxy S22 Ultra by three months.

What is the reason behind this is not yet known. Some might think Samsung is being arrogant, while others would see it as smart planning. On the other hand, we cannot ignore the problem of chip shortage that has been going on for the past few years.

The leaker bases this statement on an optimistic Samsung assumption. Don’t know whether this speculation will come true or not. This will prompt many people to buy the vanilla or Plus models.

Furthermore, the tipster also said that the three-month wait is worse than the Galaxy Z Fold 3‘s delay. It could also point to other Samsung products being delayed, such as Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
