In the last two years, Samsung has impressively grown its firmware development capabilities to provide faster OTA updates to Galaxy devices. While we can take the recent Android 12 rollout as an example, we can say, the company has delivered the major update faster than rival OEMs, after Google.
Well, a GalaxyClub report hints that the Korean tech giant is working on firmware CSC adjustments for the European region as part of further boosting the update deployment process. According to the info, Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 without CSC boundation in Europe, when it comes to firmware.
Later on, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 have also followed the Galaxy A52 way in terms of firmware in several European countries. As per the report, Samsung is now only developing “EUX” firmware for several upcoming Galaxy smartphones in Europe.
Furthermore, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy devices will also get speedy software updates in select European countries where the company ships them with the common EUX Country Specific Code. The expected devices to be shipped with the new CSC are as follows:
- Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra
- Galaxy A53
- Galaxy A33
- Galaxy A13
What do you think about the CSC adjustments under-process by Samsung? Will this strategy make sure even faster software updates to Galaxy devices in Europe, let us know your thought through the comments section.
