What is Microsoft Intune? It is a secure cloud-based service designed to help directors manage mobile phones, tablets, and laptops for an organization. You can also configure specific policies to control applications.
Coming back to the topic, the said problem is reportedly caused by apps losing access to certificates after updating to Android 12. Because of this problem, Samsung devices enrolled in the work profile through Microsoft Intune are not able to use Gmail, AnyConnect VPN, and some other apps.
Microsoft hasn’t specified which Samsung devices are affected by this problem. The two companies are working together to solve the problem. We hope that the companies will resolve this issue soon.
To be mentioned, Microsoft has posted some fixes on their website, one for AnyConnect VPN and another for Gmail. You can check them below.
- OnAnyConnect VPN: Navigate to Settings >> Work Profile >> Apps >> AnyConnect VPN >> Storage >> Clear Data and manually request a new certificate.
- Gmail: You need to uninstall and reinstall the Company Portal app, which will request a certificate upon launch.
