Samsung Galaxy Home Mini 2 appears on Bluetooth SIG certification, launch imminent
We have seen many reports regarding the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Home Mini 2. This smart speaker now appears on the Bluetooth SIG certification site, confirming its arrival.
While almost every major electronics manufacturer has its own smart speaker, Samsung is far from that list. Although the company launched the Galaxy Home Mini in 2020, it is only available for purchase in South Korea.
The certification reveals a smart speaker with model number SM-V320, Bluetooth 5.2 also confirmed. The Galaxy Home Mini broke the cover a few years ago during the launch of the Galaxy S20. So it is safe to assume that the second-gen variant will make its debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event next month.
The event also sees the official unveiling of the Galaxy S22 lineup. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series may also be unveiled during the unpacked event. Unfortunately, the hardware information on the Galaxy Home Mini 2 is currently very limited. But courtesy of Leaks we learned that the smart speaker has already gone into production (via MySmartPrice).
The Bixby Smart Assistant is expected to highlight the features while providing integration with the Galaxy Home Mini 2 smart home products. The device may also have a display, but its features are still a mystery.
Based on recent reports, the Galaxy Home Mini 2 will be exclusively for the company’s South Korean home region. The reasons for this decision are unclear, but given the growing market for smart home products, it may be a missed opportunity for the manufacturer.
Assuming reports of South Korean specialization are correct, it indicates the continued dominance of products such as Google Nest Mini, Amazon Echo Dot and Apple HomePod Mini.

The US variant of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. There were reports that Samsung may expand the Exynos chipset to its foldable lineup, which doesn’t seem to be happening, at least in the United States.
Recently, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 US variant was spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon chip. It isn’t surprising as the company is following its conventional chipset strategy. We expect that it will be the same chipset used in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.
The Flip 6 smartphone scored 15084 points on Geekbench’s GPU test. Due to its foldable form factor, the device may miss a Galaxy S24-like larger cooling technology. Still, its impressive 15000+ points in the GPU test indicates that Samsung has greatly optimized the software.
The company still has three months remaining in the launch event. More performance improvements will likely be achieved before the Unpacked. The South Korean tech giant will likely unveil the next-gen foldable phones in mid-July.
This year, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra would join the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. In addition, an affordable variant of Fan Edition branding is also in development. However, the cheaper foldable would miss some pro-grade specs to maintain the price.

Samsung Galaxy M35 5G is confirmed to feature Bluetooth 5.3 technology. The phone has recently surfaced on Samsung India’s support website, hinting at imminent launch. Rapid developments indicate that the device will soon be released in the Indian market.
As spotted by MySmartPrice, the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification site. The database revealed that Samsung’s next M series phone carries model number SM-M356B_DS and supports Bluetooth 5.3.
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A35 5G in the US, following the Global debut last month. The phone costs $400, while the upcoming Galaxy M35 5G will introduce identical design and specs at a lower price in select markets including India.
Previous reports reveal that the Galaxy M35 5G packs a 6000mAh battery with 25W charging support. The phone could be powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC paired with at least 6GB of RAM. It’s confirmed that the One UI 6.1 with Android 14 will come pre-loaded with it.

Samsung officially launched the Galaxy A35 5G smartphone in the US. The phone comes at a price tag of $399 in the market, bringing Exynos chipset, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, a modern punch-hole display, and a long-lasting battery.
The Galaxy A35 5G sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultrawide, and 5-megapixel macro lens. It has a 13-megapixel selfie camera in a hole punch on the display.
Similar to its global variant, the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G brings the Exynos 1380 chipset to the US. It’s packed with a 5000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. The phone is available in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The device comes pre-loaded with Android 14-based One UI 6.1, with Samsung guaranteed 4 generations of OS upgrades. In case you want Galaxy AI magic, remove the A35 5G from your purchase list and opt for the Galaxy S24 or Galaxy S23 series.
