Samsung Galaxy M31/M31s got freezing issue with recent One UI update

Samsung Galaxy M31 packs the adequate performance of all the features you would expect in any midrange smartphone. But, some Galaxy M31 users are stuck in the frozen and auto restart issues after the recent One UI firmware update.
To be mentioned, Samsung released a new software update with December 2021 security patch for Galaxy M31 smartphones. As confirmed by the company, the update comes with fixes to 5 critical, 22 high, and 3 moderate CVEs from Google.

Notably, some Galaxy M31 owners reported on the community forum that they have started facing issues after installing the December security update. The new security patch comes to resolve issues and bugs but here’s goes the opposite. Users are mainly facing auto-restart and freeze issues in the smartphone.
The issue is dam serious as a particular users state that after grabbing December 2021 security patch, his smartphone got frozen as a result got the motherboard replaced today.
Along with that Galaxy M31s, smartphone users are also troubling after the latest software update. They are also facing the exact problem of around 40 to 50 times automatically restarting and freezing.
The users mentioned that on complaining about the issue the Samsung help center answer them to change the motherboard. Users are really disappointed with such an issue.
We hope that this issue will automatically resolve in the upcoming update from Samsung. And the user will soon get rid of this.

Samsung Galaxy S20 phones suddenly started showing green, pink lines on the screen

Samsung Galaxy S20 users have been reporting screen problems. The devices have started showing pink and green lines on their display without any falls or crashes, for some users in India.
A large number of affected customers taking the Samsung community, Twitter, Reddit, and other platforms to express the problems that they are facing on their phones. Users are really disappointed and are asking for an early fix.

According to them, the green and pink lines suddenly appeared on their smartphones. Some users are facing this issue since August last year. Whereas, some of these users state that this problem occurred after the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update on their phones.

The reason for the appearance of lines on the phone is not clear yet. A couple of months ago, the Samsung support team acknowledged the problem and said that the lines appeared during the normal course of usage.
Samsung doesn't take severe yet common issues seriously.

A user even took his phone to a Samsung care center and they advised him to change the screen of their phone, which will cost Rs 15,500, more than 20% of the actual phone’s price. In most cases, the issue is been occurring after the end of the warranty period, which means that if it’s really a screen issue, users will have to provide the full charge for screen repair.
This issue has been occurring on all three Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones, while the number of Galaxy S20+ users is the highest. All these are the flagship phones with a really high cost, we hope that the company will soon provide a fix.

Samsung recommended the Galaxy S22 Ultra consumers change the screen mode to Vivid or resolution to FHD+ until the software update arrives.
- To change screen mode, head to: settings > display > Screen mode > select vivid

The most disturbing thing is that after 10% the battery does not last even 5 minutes and 5% of the battery gets exhausted in a blink of an eye. Many users have also reported that even after not using the phone at all at night, 10% of the battery drops automatically.
Expressing the problems, users also say that they understand that Samsung displays consume more battery, but at least once the power saving mode is on, there should be no such problems.
This problem has caused a lot of trouble for the users. Many times it happens that we forget to charge our phone in a hurry and also carry a charger but we need to have our phone on and at such time that 5-10% battery is also very important.
We hope that the issue will soon reach the community moderator and the company will release a fix as early as possible. To be mentioned, Samsung has just released the second May 2022 security update for the Galaxy S22 owners. It could be possible that it fixes the battery draining issue.
But it’s also worth mentioning that none of the users have reported the fix for the problem after the upgrade. However, some users have said that the phone is working smoothly after this update.
