Starting the US, Samsung pushed the January 2022 security update rollout for the carrier-unlocked Galaxy S20 series devices. Now, the same software update is rolling out the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra phones in more countries and regions such as Europe.

Samsung just seeded a new software update on the carrier unlocked Galaxy S20 series devices in the US, which brings the latest January 2022 security patch for better security and increased stability.
As of now, the January 2022 security patch is rolling out for the unlocked Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra consumers of AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, C-Spire, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile.

Consumers can identify the latest update through PDA version numbers: G981U1UES2DUL2, G986U1UES2DUL2 and G988U1UES2DUL2 for the Galaxy S20 5G, Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.
However, it is an initial rollout, the Korean tech giant may expand the January 2022 security update to the Galaxy S20 series devices locked on US carriers as well as in the international market.

Samsung rolled out the May 2022 Android security update for the Snapdragon variant of Galaxy S20 FE LTE users last week. Not the company is releasing the May 2022 patch update for the Exynos variants of the devices in Asia and Europe.

When will Samsung Galaxy S20 FE get Android 13 One UI 5.0 update?
We don’t have any Android 13 upgrade rollout plan or roadmap for Samsung devices at this moment, meanwhile, the company might begin One UI 5.0 beta testing in July, starting with the Galaxy S22 series and other flagships.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 getting May 2022 security update in Europe

Last August, Samsung launched its last Note lineup, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. At the Unpacked event, the company announced that all the Galaxy flagships launched with Android 9 or later will get three years of Android upgrade support!
Debuted with Android 10-based One UI 2.5, the Galaxy Note 20 range entered the Android 11/One UI 3 beta trial last October. In December 2020, Samsung released the stable One UI version 3.0 via a software update, followed by One UI 3.1 in February 2021.

Although the Galaxy Note 20 series received its first Android OS upgrade in the form of Android 11, it is officially confirmed to get two more major updates up to Android 13. One UI 4.1 rolling out in Europe
Samsung started releasing the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update to the Galaxy Note 20 series devices in Switzerland.
The update can be identified via PDA version numbers: N980FXXU3FVC5 and N985FXXU3FVC5 for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
Exclusively introduced with Galaxy S22, the Google Duo Live Sharing feature is now reaching Galaxy Note 20 devices, thanks to One UI 4.1
Other noteworthy features that Samsung One UI 4.1 is bringing to your device are Object eraser, Enhanced Quick Share, the Grammarly-Powered Keyboard, and many more.
