WhatsApp prompts banner to encourage inviting new users

WhatsApp Inviting prompt

WhatsApp is enhancing user engagement with a new feature that prompts users to invite their contacts to join the messaging platform. This feature appears as a banner at the top of the chat list and is part of a targeted campaign to increase the app’s user base.

It is currently available to a select group of users who have installed the latest WhatsApp updates on iOS and Android devices. The banner aims to remind users to encourage their friends and family to use WhatsApp.

This approach is especially useful in countries where WhatsApp users are less, as it serves as a visible and convenient prompt for users to invite more people to the platform. By highlighting the advantages of new features and a unified chat experience, WhatsApp is looking to attract more users and maintain its position as a leading messaging service.

The feature is expected to be rolled out more widely in the coming weeks. This new move indicates that WhatsApp wants to keep users informed and connected, using the visibility of in-app notifications.

Impulse: Samsung’s New AI App Helps Speech Disorders

Published

on

Samsung Impulse

Samsung has introduced a new app called “Impulse,” developed in partnership with Cheil and the Speechcare & Stuttering Center. This app is designed to help people with speech disorders, such as stuttering, which affects over 1% (around 70 million people) of the global population. It uses the power of AI and rhythmic vibrations to improve speech fluency.

Impulse app uses an algorithm based on Natural Language Processing to analyze words and transform them into vibrations. These vibrations serve as a non-intrusive guide, helping users find their speech rhythm and overcome pronunciation difficulties.

The app is compatible with Android phones and the Galaxy Watch 6 series. It offers over 250 exercises in rhythm and tone, which progressively increase in complexity to assist users in controlling their speech. The app also features a haptic metronome that transforms vibrations into neural impulses, assisting the brain’s speech processing.

The app features four distinct modes to support speech development including Boost your voice, Boost your rhythm, Boost your tone, and Boost your speech. This app is available for free on Android 10 or higher devices in Spain.
