Samsung Home Hub lets users access all smart home devices on one screen

Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2022) is currently live and Samsung has showcased several new devices as well as technologies and innovations for its future products. On the second day of CES today, the company has announced the launch of Samsung Home Hub.

Samsung Home Hub is an 8.4-inch tablet that can be docked or even used around the house, depending on your needs. It’s a new method to manage home appliances with a creative tablet-style touchscreen device that provides instant access to customized and connected home services.

In a nutshell, Samsung Home Hub gives you access to all your SmartThings connected devices and services on one screen. Introducing it, the company says that the Home Hub integrates with AI-connected appliances to simplify home management.

Furthermore, the tablet features two microphones and two speakers for voice control. These allow users to easily hear notifications and use Bixby voice commands. Thanks to its high-performance microphones, it is able to hear commands spoken from the broader room when docked.

From launch, the Samsung Home Hub will allow you to connect to every product within the SmartThings ecosystem. This also includes your Samsung Smart devices. Shortly, the company will even allow users to connect directly to other devices in their smart home system, such as lights and door lock systems.
