At CES 2022, Alienware announced that this year a new gaming monitor QD-OLED is arriving. It features a Samsung-made OLED panel with a 1800R curve, so it should be on par with offers like Samsung’s Odyssey Neo G9.

Although the monitor is not that big, the slightly curved design still helps to keep the gaming very immersive for those who want that kind of experience. The Alienware Monitor is set to launch in March 2022, but no official price has been announced yet.

Although it was announced close to the monitor launch. Needless to say, expect this monitor to cost a bit more. It comes under the Alienware name and Alienware products are generally not cheap.

For reference, Samsung’s 49-inch Odyssey Neo G9 is currently retailing for $ 1,399. So Alienware QD-OLED will cost more if not exactly at the same price. Despite many other features, it is still a great buy for gamers.

Among the important features provided with this monitor is the 175Hz refresh rate. While not exactly the highest refresh rate of a gaming monitor, the 175Hz sneeze is nothing.

The monitor also supports NVIDIA’s G-Sync Ultimate for “Lifetime HDR”. Additionally, it comes with an Alienware logo and LED lighting on the back via a base attachment.
