Samsung has done a great job by introducing a set of new features and customization alongside major system optimizations with the One UI 4.0 software. Now, the One UI 4 is reaching more devices, and you are wondering about how to customize your Homescreen!

All right, the beauty of Android is that you can customize various elements of your phone without any restrictions. While some customizations require further apps such as launchers or mods for power users, you get tons of inbuilt options, especially on Samsung devices.

Customize your Homescreen with One UI 4.0

Your device will interact with the home screen when you first unlock your device, so it’s a good idea to customize it to your liking.

You can change the wallpaper, add widgets, try a different icon pack, or resize the grid on the home screen. To do this –

  • Hold down a blank space on your home screen to bring up the Homescreen menu.
  • Now, tap on Home Screen Settings.
  • Here, you can select Homescreen grid size, Enable/Disable notification badges in apps and hide your apps from the app drawer.

Adding to this, the Galaxy smartphone also comes with the Bixby panel to the right of the homescreen on some devices. You can turn this off by placing a blank area on your homescreen to bring up the Homescreen customization menu.

Now, you see all your home screens as scrollable windows. Bixby Home means scroll to the left. You get the toggle about what you need to disable.

Additionally, with the approach of Android 12 and the Material You theme, it’s time to look at how you can add and customize widgets as well. No, it is not that the process has changed so badly. In fact, it should be accurate for most users. But, for those who need extra help, Click Here for a complete guide.
