Samsung Galaxy S10 third One UI 4 Beta (Android 12) coming next week
Samsung released two One UI 4 Beta updates to the Galaxy S10 series devices in South Korea. While the second Beta update was released a couple of days ago, consumers are waiting for the third Beta or official One UI 4.0 update for their Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ smartphones.

Following a Beta participant’s query, Samsung Beta Operations Manager disclosed that it’s difficult to release the third One UI 4 Beta update as of now. However, the developers are trying their best so that the update can be rolled out next week.

After the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 10 series, the Korean tech giant announced the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta Program for the Galaxy S10 series devices, however, this activity is exclusively live in its home ground.
If we talk about the One UI 4.0 public rollout for the Galaxy S10 series smartphone users, it may be released in January or February 2022. However, the company has begun the stable update rollout for the Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 last month, it has been halted due to multiple reasons.
One UI 4 Features:
- Samsung’s Android 12 update comes with tons of new features such as a redesigned user interface with revamped icons and Material You theming system.
- In addition, the One UI 4.0 enhances all of the stock apps, adds more lock screen widgets, quick settings toggles to turn off the camera and mic access and more.

Google Messages is getting a new look for its voice recorder UI. The microphone icon in the text field will change to a waveform icon, which is different from the voice typing button in Gboard.
Instead of holding down the mic to record, you will now see a panel with a start/stop button and options to cancel, delete, or attach the recording. You will also see a waveform and a timer while recording, and you can play back the recording before sending it.
The voice messages preview will also show a waveform between the play/pause button and the timer, making it more noticeable than the current straight line.
These changes are not widely available yet, but some users have reported seeing them on their phones. These new changes are part of a bigger redesign that Google is working on for Messages, which includes a revamped home screen that is still in beta testing. Google might announce new features soon.
Samsung managed to create an ecosystem of FE products, which are not too far from launch. In October, Samsung is likely to announce the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Buds FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. Meanwhile, a tipster just leaked the official promotional material of these upcoming devices.

Notably, a leaked promo shows off the control center of the Galaxy S23 FE, which mentions October 4 as the date. This means the company is preparing to hold its FE products launch on the same date as Google’s Made by Google event for Pixel 8 series.
