Just recently, Samsung announced that selected 2022 4K and 8K TVs and gaming monitors will support the new HDR10+ GAMING standard, which will provide gamers with an immersive, ultra-responsive HDR gaming experience.

The new, cutting-edge HDR gameplay will be offered on CES 2022 along with a list of 4K and 8K game titles by all NVIDIA GPUs.

This is developed by HDR10+ Technologies, LLC, this new standard provides game developers with the tools they need to provide a compelling and consistent HDR gaming experience that requires no manual calibration on a variety of display technologies for a variety of input sources, including console and PCs even more.

Samsung’s 2022 TV and gaming monitor lineup supports the HDR10+ GAMING standard by allowing for automatic HDR calibration that provides excellent image quality in line with game developers’ demands.

Many gaming companies, including Saber Interactive, are expected to showcase their HDR10+ GAMING titles at the upcoming CES 2022. Game Mechanic Studio is also showcasing its HDR10+ GAMING title “Happy Trails and the Kidnapped Princess”, which will be available in 2022.

HDR10+ Continues To Expand With Industry Support

HDR10 + provides better image quality by optimizing brightness and scene-scene or frame-by-frame contrast with more precise color expression.

Introduced four years ago, HDR10+ 128 has provided strong support across the industry with partners and more than 4,000 supported devices, including TVs, projectors, smartphones and tablets from 28 manufacturers.

Additionally, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series, RTX 20 Series and GTX 16 Series GPUs support the HDR10+ GAMING standard and the drivers are scheduled for release in 2022.
